Current Work

I currently work for the Waisman Laboratory For Brain Imaging and Behavior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, under the supervision of Dr. Richard J. Davidson.  There I assist numerous studies in the measurement of amygdalae volumes, and relation of these volumes to other measures of interest, such as psychophysiology, self-report, and functional MRI data. I am currently spearheading an analysis of amygdala volume in relation to economic game behavior, self-report, and functional data in a study of individuals trained in either emotion reappraisal or compassion meditation techniques. I am also currently assisting in applying automated segmentation methods to examine individual differences in cortical thickness and their relation to social behaviors.
