The volumetric ROI (VOI) is the grey wedge-shaped object with the vertices connected by purple lines. The "Easter egg" is only used as a reference for location. The cursor was used to click on the small red sphere located on one of the VOI vertecies, and was then dragged to pull one corner of the VOI. Vertecies near the one being dragged also move, yielding a new VOI that has a larger volume but still maintains a smooth outer shape.
